A Busy 2025 – and welcome 2026!

Happy New Year! 2026 is shaping up to be a great year for the team.

2025 has been yet another busy year for Sarah Franklin Solicitors.

Sarah was President of the Northamptonshire Law Society until July when she handed the honour on to another NLS Council Member, Laura Carter. Sarah continues to be on the Council.

Motorsport Legal, our motorsport specific department was busier than ever and won ‘Small firm of the year’ at the NLS Awards dinner. Motorsport Legal also sponsored Mikey Doble, a driver in the British Touring Car Championship – and Sarah even ended up being his grid girl for one of the races!

The family department has seen some changes with our head of family, Harriet Hudson going on maternity leave in September and having a beautiful baby boy in October. Whilst she is on maternity, the fabulous Alison Thornton has joined the team to look after all of her matters.

We’ve also had two other new paralegals join the team.

The team have continued to support Parkinsons UK and Hope UK as much as possible, including Sarah undertaking sponsored walks and making the charities her two charities during her year as President of the NLS.

We’ve had some fun too, including fun for our annual outing which, in 2025 was to celebrate the firm being 18 years old, was to Stanwick Lakes!

We’re looking forward to what 2026 brings …..
